Course Description: As a requirement to earning the Certified Apartment Supplier (CAS) credential, the Supplier Success course is designed to offer an overview of the apartment industry, and it recommends ways for suppliers to maximize partnerships with apartment owners, apartment management companies, and apartment association members.  The Supplier Success Program is also a great stand-alone program for any new supplier partner or an industry veteran looking for a refresher.

In this course you will learn:

  • Types of multifamily housing, apartment ownership, and property management
  • Apartment associations and building lines of business
  • Apartment management company structures
  • Apartment community performance measurements
  • Using property performance measurements to demonstrate product value
  • Defining product or service value

Whether you are a supplier partner veteran or new to the industry, you will find value in this class.  Charles will provide tips and best practices from highly successful supplier partners and will discuss strategies for increasing your selling success.  

About the Instructor: Lani Grant, CAM, CAPS, CAS,  NAAEI Faculty
Originally from Montana, Lani began her multifamily career in 1986 with Chasewood Properties. Before stepping into her current role with Zumper, Lani held multiple positions within the industry, including being the Regional Vice President with Dayrise Residential where she oversaw assets located in Dallas, Austin, and Phoenix. She holds the ARM designation from IREM and the HCCP designation from NAHB.

Lindsey is the lead sales executive for CORT Business Services, overseeing sales and business solutions for top property management companies, athletic organizations as well as University and student communities in the Dallas market. Lindsey holds her CAS credentials from NAAEI. Since 2016 Lindsey has excelled in uncovering partnership solutions for all Dallas/Fort Worth clientele. Focusing her efforts on training, technical, and advertising solutions, Lindsey has created positive results in improving both occupancy and NOI growth. Through value-based collaboration with Property Management Companies within the relocation, insurance housing, student and athletic organizations, she curates a plan for revenue growth by capitalizing on the prospective renters needing furniture solutions as a part of either their short or long-term transfer or relocation needs. Lindsey currently serves on AAGD’s Product & Service Council, Education and NextGen Committees.

Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be submitted in writing to the AAGD Education Department at least 24 hours prior to class.
