Memberships belong to the Organizations, and all individuals within the organization can create an individual profile and take advantage of the inherent benefits.

This page is for companies applying for a new membership or new properties that need to be added to a company's current portfolio. Current members can manage their profiles by logging in to their member compass.

Property

Use only to ADD a property to your current portfolio under a parent membership. Please Read the Instructions Carefully.
Properties are "Inhering" Members from a Parent membership. If the Owner or Management Company is not a current member, do not submit a Property application without first submitting an Owner- Management Company Membership application.

Most properties are already listed within our database. If you suspect the property is already in our system due to previous ownership, contact us via email at changes@aagdallas.com to submit a management company change or reinstatement. 

  • Owner/Management Company Membership is required and must be an approved member prior to submitting a property application. All properties receive an inherited membership via the Owner/Management Company Membership. Choose this only if your management company, owner, or independent rental owner is already a member and you have acquired or opened a new property in the Greater Dallas market; see the eleven counties we serve.
  • Properties cannot be a sole member without a Parent- Owner/Management Company Membership (Parent Company, annual dues of $300). To submit a form for a NEW Owner/ Management Company membership, scroll down to the Owner/ Management Company application. 
  • All details on the Property application should be for the property. Unique e-mails are required when entering a new application and must not be linked to a current account. You will be prompted to add your owner/management company (Parent Company within the application.) 
Property Inheriting Member Benefits:

Property Inheriting Member Dues: Properties inherit the membership benefits via their Owner/ Management Membership. Owner/ Management Company Membership Dues need to be paid as well as the per Property Dues for a company to be in good standing. (All properties owned or managed by a company within our service area are required to be an inheriting member in good standing).

Property Inheriting Member per door dues:

Member Properties are “inherited” members through the parent Owner/Management Co. Membership.  

    2025 Property Membership Dues:

    Tier 1: Property with 100 units or less(# of units * $1.92) = Annual Property Dues 

    Tier 2: Property 101 units or more(# of units * $1.62) + $100 ( Property Fee) = Annual Property Dues

    2026 Property Membership Dues:

    Tier 1: Property with 100 units or less(# of units * $2.08) = Annual Property Dues 

    Tier 2: Property 101 units or more(# of units * $1.98) + $100 ( Property Fee) = Annual Property Dues

    IMPORTANT: Property renewals are based on the anniversary month. Every property in an Owner/ Management Co. portfolio within AAGD’s eleven counties must join to have access to TAA Leases and Forms. The company must be in good standing for properties to receive benefits.

    This application should only be submitted if the property is new to the Apartment Association database.  Meaning, a new build or was not a member prior to acquiring under a different Management Company.

    Business Entity that supplies products and/or services to the multifamily and rental housing industry.

    Member Benefits:
    New Supplier Company Membership Dues are $479 + a one-time $75 Set-up fee. 
    Membership renewal is based on the anniversary month.

    Owner/Management Company

    Please Read the Instructions Carefully.

    Entities that own/operate/develop residential properties and/or multifamily communities in the Greater Dallas market; see the eleven counties we represent. 

    If you are an IRO (Independent Rental Owner or Smaller Owner), please sign up as an owner/management company as well. Then, your Individual Rental Properties, duplexes, etc., should sign up under the New Property member type (listed above).

    • Owner-Management Company Membership is required and must be approved before submitting a new property application.
    • After submitting a new Owner-Management Company application, properties managed need to be added under the owner-management company membership.
    • The New Owner-Management Company's portfolio, located within the Greater Dallas area, must join the association. Each asset will have a property profile with accurate data, including unit count, and will pay a per-door membership fee based on their size (units/doors).
    • Most properties are already listed within our database. If you suspect that a newly acquired property is already in our system due to previous ownership, contact us via email at changes@aagdallas.com to submit a management company change or reinstatement. In this case, do not submit a new property application. 
    Member Benefits:

    New Owner /Management Company Member Dues: $300 + One-time $75 Set-up Fee. Membership renewal is based on the anniversary date.

    Additional Per Unit Assessment is priced based on the property size; see the property's per door dues chart located under the property dues form.
