AAGD represents a wide variety of companies in the Multifamily Industry. IRO Members (Independent Rental Owners) are small operators and individual members who own and operate single-family rental properties, condos, duplexes, small apartment communities, and other types of rental properties in the Greater Dallas market; see the eleven counties we represent.

Annual Member Dues are $300 per company. Each Management Company Member's entire Greater Dallas portfolio must join the association. Each asset will have a property profile with accurate data. The cost per unit is calculated at the property level.

Our IRO’s make up 30% of our membership! We offer many benefits to our IRO members.

IRO Member Meetings

The IRO Committee offers customized education and networking programs just for you! Whether you are a brand new owner or have been a part of the industry for many years, we encourage you to network with your fellow Independent Rental owners and learn from their success! The IRO Committee hosts 6 IRO Open Meetings a year. These meetings are a great place to meet and network with other operators and suppliers that cater to the Independent Rental Owners. Each meeting has a topic designed to help the IRO improve their business.

AAGD has supplier members that are companies that sell services to the Multifamily Industry. Each supplier member can designate on their company profile if they are an IRO Supplier. IRO Apartment Academy Subscription

AAGD hosts close to 120 days of classes a year for our members. The Apartment Academy is an annual subscription that provides access to free courses or a 10% discount on hot topics and NAAEI Industry Credentials. The Apartment Academy pricing tier is based on the property unit count. However, IROP members that operate or manage a total of 100 unit or less can subscribe to the Apartment Academy as a company and benefit all of their employees that would like to attend our educational programs.

TAA Lease

Independent Rental Owners are considered an Owner Management Company Member and as an Owner/ Management Company that is in good standing with the Association, and has included all of their properties in our service area under their membership, your company receives access to the Texas Apartment Association Click and Lease Program. The TAA Click and Lease Program is an online platform where you can have online access to contracts, forms, E-signature Services, and more to operate your properties.

IRO Members with ten or fewer units under their membership will receive a complimentary license to BlueMoon Clicks and Lease Program and unlimited access to the Redbook Online.

PAC image

The purpose of AAGD PAC is to support candidates for political office by collecting voluntary contributions from AAGD members. AAGD PAC contributes to candidates of both parties who support the multifamily industry. Our Legislative Committee makes decisions to support elected officials based on a number of criteria. AAGD PAC is a political action committee that supports state and local pro-rental housing industry candidates in the greater Dallas area.
