Class Description:
The terms ESA & Support Animals have become somewhat a trigger within the multifamily profession.  Handling these accommodation requests may seem difficult and confusing.  Not to mention, there can be some confusion about handling situations with the animals once they are on your property.  Join Jennifer Owen to gain clarity and become more comfortable and confident about dealing with these requests.

In this class you will learn:

  • Your obligations under fair housing law to provide reasonable accommodations by approving support and assistance animals
  • What kind of information you can request to verify the disability-related need for such an animal
  • How to handle requests that involve aggressive breeds.

About the Instructor:
