Texas Apartment Association Dues Increase

As an AAGD member, your company is a member of the Texas Apartment Association and the National Apartment Association. AAGD pays membership dues to TAA and NAA on your behalf. 

A TAA Pass Thru Dues Increase will go into effect beginning January 2023 affecting Owners, Management Companies, and Suppliers.

As an AAGD member benefit, your company will continue to be a member of the Texas Apartment Association and the National Apartment Association, and the dues increase is solely a pass-thru increase of TAA Dues that will be included in your AAGD annual membership renewal.

Owner/Management Company Membership

Membership will continue to be based on Owner or Management Company benefits which will be then inherited by the properties owned or managed in the eleven counties we represent. (Collin, Cooke, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Fannin, Grayson, Hunt, Kaufman, Lamar, and Rockwall)

Base Annual Owner/Management Company Membership Dues of $250 per company. The invoice will continue to be sent to the company on their renewal month.


Inherit Property Membership Dues

Properties Owned or Managed by our members inherit the benefits of our Membership while paying the property base fee plus a unit cost as shown below.

100 units or less - Flat Fee $0.0+ Unit cost of $1.80 per unit

101 units or more - Flat Fee $75+ Unit cost of $1.50 per unit

The invoice will continue to be sent directly to the property on their renewal month.


Supplier Partners Membership

Membership for Supplier Partner Companies that offer goods or services to our industry will be $462 per company per year. The invoice will continue to be sent directly to the supplier company on their renewal month.


Texas Apartment Association (TAA) Lease and Forms will continue to ONLY be valid if the owner/ management company and property are an AAGD member in good standing.

Owners and Management Companies that currently are AAGD Sustaining Members will continue to receive an additional invoice for their $1,000 contribution along with their $250 Company Membership

APARTMENT ASSOCIATION OF GREATER DALLAS 2023 MEMBERSHIP DUES BREAKDOWN
The below Dues are included in your AAGD Dues and paid annually to TAA and NAA on behalf of members
Texas Apartment Association (TAA):
Owner Management: $47 and $0.21 per unit
Supplier Member: $68 per member
National Apartment Association (NAA):
Owner Management: $0.56 per unit
Supplier Member: $31 per member
