Class Description:
Do you have questions about how to get to the NEXT LEVEL of your personal development plan?  What can YOU do to get to the next level on your career journey?  This class will take an in depth look at the journey of four industry professionals who represent different facets of the multifamily industry: property management leadership, training, maintenance and supplier partner. 

Each professional has “leveled up” and developed through different career paths.  This diverse group of industry professionals will share their stories about personal development progression and guide you with support and key drivers for your NEXT LEVEL LEADERSHIP Journey.

In this class you will learn:

  • How to give yourself the best opportunity to achieve your goals.
  • The fundamentals of leadership and how to thrive in your leadership journey.

About the Instructor: Geoffrey Gonzales, CAM, CAPS, Regional Manager, Olympus Property

Geoffrey is a Regional Manager with Olympus Property overseeing several communities in the North Dallas area. Since joining the industry in 2014, he has held key onsite positions from Leasing Consultant to Business Manager and currently supports his team as Regional Manager all within Olympus Property. Prior to joining the multifamily industry, Geoffrey, held multiple leadership roles in other industries, and has a true passion for training and coaching others. Geoffrey holds his CAM credentials from NAAEI and multiple awards including AAGD’s Sapphire Awards 2018 Rookie Manager of the Year and Olympus Property’s 2019 Business Manager of the Year. Geoffrey currently serves on AAGD’s Education and NextGen Committees where his number one focus is helping train, educate and develop others to reach their goals.

About the Instructor: Jimmy McClung, CAMT, ARM, CPO, EPA Proctor, Maintenance Support Supervisor, Luma Residential

Jimmy serves as Maintenance Support Supervisor for Luma Residential located in Dallas, Texas. In his current role as Maintenance Support Supervisor, Jimmy oversees daily responsibilities of each communities’ maintenance teams and designs training programs that are structured around maintenance efficiencies that will help to guide his teams to excellence. In 2019 Jimmy received the AATC Lone Star Award winner for Regional Maintenance Supervisor and was also an AAGD Sapphire Award Winner.  He has also been awarded the TAA Mary Williams Award and the NAA Paragon Award.  Jimmy serves on the Maintenance Advisory Board for AATC, TAAEF Maintenance Council and is an instructor for the CAMT Program and additional maintenance courses for multiple apartment associations in Texas. Jimmy holds both his CAMT and ARM designations.

About the Instructor: Lindsey Goetz, Senior Account Executive, CORT

Lindsey is the lead sales executive for CORT Business Services, overseeing sales and business solutions for top property management companies, athletic organizations as well as University and student communities in the Dallas market. Lindsey holds her CAS credentials from NAAEI. Since 2016 Lindsey has excelled in uncovering partnership solutions for all Dallas/Fort Worth clientele. Focusing her efforts on training, technical, and advertising solutions, Lindsey has created positive results in improving both occupancy and NOI growth. Through value-based collaboration with Property Management Companies within the relocation, insurance housing, student and athletic organizations, she curates a plan for revenue growth by capitalizing on the prospective renters needing furniture solutions as a part of either their short or long-term transfer or relocation needs. Lindsey currently serves on AAGD’s Product & Service Council, Education and NextGen Committees.

Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be submitted in writing to the AAGD Education Department at least 24 hours prior to class. Written confirmation from the Education Department will be sent via e-mail.  Substitutions are allowed, but ALL NO SHOWS WILL BE BILLED WITHOUT EXCEPTION. By registering for this program, you agree that you have read and understood the cancellation policy.
