Class Description: The Dallas Fort-Worth Metroplex ranks as one of the most prolific Human Sex Trafficking areas in the country. Quite often, it is occurring on our communities without our knowledge. Join us for this informational discussion with Traffick911 organization, (B.A.C.A) Bikers Against Child Abuse, Inc. organization. During this program you will learn how to recognize the signs of human trafficking at your property.
This informational seminar will outline:
- The scope of human trafficking on a global, national, and local level
- Demonstrate how victims are lured into trafficking situations
- Reveal methods to identify a potential human trafficking victim
- Provide contacts and protocols for reporting and requesting assistance for potential victims
This course will provide the knowledge and tools necessary to adequately respond, in the event of, any suspicion of trafficking activity.
About the Instructor: Charles Stroud, CAS
Since 1986, Charles has held several roles as an apartment operator and as a supplier to the multifamily industry. Currently, Charles is the Director of Business Development-Multifamily at ATI Restoration. He is an active Board Member on the Texas Apartment Association, Apartment Association of Tarrant County, and Apartment Association of Greater Dallas. He is also a Region VI Delegate to NAA. On a state level, he is the Chairman of the Texas Apartment Association’s Product Service Council. Nationally, he is Past-Chairman for NAA’s National Suppliers Council. Charles is a two-time NAA Lyceum Leadership Graduate, a TAA Lyceum candidate, and is a graduate of the AATC Lyceum Program. Charles has been the recipient of many Industry Awards by the National Supplier Council, the National Apartment Association, and the local Associations. Recently, in 2017 he was awarded the NAA Excellence Award for Certified Apartment Supplier of the Year. In 2019 he was honored as the fifth Product Service Member to receive the NAA Lifetime Achievement Award.
