Class Description:

Let's be honest, everyone has gotten used to sending a quick text or e-mail, rather than dialing a phone.  But in today's fast paced environment many of us take short cuts and fall short of providing adequate communications when there is a screen between us and the recipient.  And now that many of us are in a hybrid work environment and we no longer see our residents as often, creating a well-crafted digital communication is paramount to getting our message accross.  The appropriate communication can vary depending on multiple factors including if you are writing to a superior or a peer, if you are writing to one or several recipients, or if you are writing to your residents/clients.  It could even vary based on generation!

However, there are some basic dos and don’ts that you should follow to have a successful communication.

In this Class You Will Learn

  • Understanding Your Readers Needs
  • Going Beyond Generic Conversations in Communication.
  • There’s More To Good Writing Than Grammar and Spelling
