ABOUT THE PROGRAM
As a multifamily professional, you wear a variety of hats from day one. As a multi-site manager those hats double and you must have the skills and experience to manage millions of dollars of real estate assets.
The Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor course is an in-depth review of property management principles and techniques that will help you to better understand: Client Services & Stakeholder Relationships / Investment Management / Asset Evaluation & Improving Performance / Talent Management

PAYMENT POLICY
Payment is due no later than APRIL 22, 2026. Payment must be received and posted by this date, otherwise your registration will be canceled without exception.
To obtain the CAPS credential, candidates must complete the following:
- Minimum of 24 months employment as a multi-site supervisor or be either a CAM, ARM or RAM credential holder in good standing.
- Successful completion of all CAPS course work
- Successfully pass the CAPS examination within 6 months of declaring candidacy
Course Materials:
You will receive a physical book on the first day of class.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Jeremy J. Thomason
Asset Management Executive | Multifamily Real Estate Leader | ESG & Social Impact Advocate
Jeremy J. Thomason is a dynamic and versatile executive with over two decades of experience spanning asset management, financial services, proptech, and multifamily real estate. Currently the Managing Principal at Convolo Capital, Jeremy leads acquisitions, asset performance, and investor relations for a private equity firm focused on multifamily investments across Texas and Georgia. His ability to navigate complex deals and cultivate capital relationships has earned him a strong reputation in the industry. Jeremy is the VP of Partnerships for Savoy Equity Partners. In this role he leads the Asset Management function and the Investor Relations function as well as coordinating key partnerships for the firm.
Previously, as EVP of Asset Management and Investor Relations at CAF Companies—a $4B multifamily investment firm—Jeremy built a robust investor platform, raised $50M in equity, and led cross-functional teams overseeing 25,000+ units. He also championed social impact initiatives and technology partnerships, notably guiding strategic integrations with platforms like Entrata.
An entrepreneur at heart, Jeremy founded JARS Partners and Jerlar Ventures, participating in 26 real estate ventures nationwide and acting as lead sponsor on over 1000 units in Dallas–Fort Worth. His extensive background includes executive roles at CoreLogic, where he oversaw $50M in software sales revenue, and at Wells Fargo and GE Capital, where he managed national sales teams, structured $3B+ in equipment financing, and developed vendor finance programs for Fortune 500 clients.
In 2024, Jeremy launched Refuge Consulting to guide multifamily stakeholders through workouts, ESG strategies, insuretech adoption, and BTR developments. A committed civic leader, he serves on multiple City of Richardson boards and is deeply engaged in housing advocacy through the Apartment Association of Greater Dallas, where he sits on the Executive Board and Legislative Committee.
Jeremy holds an MBA from the University of Central Florida and a BBA in Finance from Texas A&M University. He is a Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor (CAPS) and licensed in property & casualty insurance. Known for his integrity, strategic thinking, and collaborative leadership, Jeremy continues to mentor the next generation of professionals while shaping the future of real estate through innovation and impact.

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations must be received in writing and approved by the AAGD Education Department NO LATER THAN 04/22/2026.
Student substitutions must be submitted and approved NO LATER THAN 04/22/2026.
Important: keep your cancellation approval e-mail for your records. If a cancellation is not received by the deadline but before the start of the program, you are responsible for a one-time, non-refundable $150 fee for restocking.
No shows will be billed without exception. You are NOT able to transfer your registration to the next program.
