Class Description:
April is Fair Housing Month and what a better way to celebrate than by educating yourself about the spirit of Fair Housing Laws, their enforcement and how they protect you and your residents.  Proper Fair Housing training is essential to your property’s success and your multifamily career. But, no matter how many Fair Housing classes you attend, you may never feel 100% secure in your knowledge and may always have lingering questions.

This full day of learning begins with everyone’s Fair Housing Heroine, Anne Sadovsky, as she explores and defines Fair Housing and its impact on your operations, all while keeping you engaged and laughing.  This isn’t your mama’s standard annual Fair Housing training.

Then, after lunch, we will be joined by William Keith Cooper, a Lead Housing Investigator and Frances Reese-Seeger, Intake Supervisor for the Texas Workforce Commission’s Civil Rights Division. William and Frances will provide an inside look at Fair Housing Laws, complaints and investigations processes that will help to alleviate the worries you have regarding Fair Housing. 

After this full day program you will feel more confident and prepared!

Cancellation Policy: 
All cancellations must be submitted in writing to the AAGD Education Department at least 24 hours prior to class. Written confirmation from the Education Department will be sent via e-mail.  Substitutions are allowed, but ALL NO SHOWS WILL BE BILLED WITHOUT EXCEPTION.
