This Program is for anyone who operates a community within the City of Dallas
The City of Dallas requires the annual submission of a Multi-Tenant Application and supporting documentation as part of Chapter 27 of the Dallas City Code. The purpose of Chapter 27 "Minimum Property Standards" is to protect the health, safety, morals, and welfare of Dallas residents by establishing minimum standards applicable to residential and nonresidential structures. All non-owner-occupied structures, which includes single family homes, multi-family complexes, duplexes, and individually rented condominium units must be registered with the City of Dallas.
To register, an E-Application (electronic) must be completed via the City of Dallas’ online registration system (VGOV). A basic working knowledge of the property as well as ownership and management contact information will be required to be provided. A photo or scanned copy of a government issued photo identification card will be required to be uploaded as well.
This program will assist you with the application process by
- Helping you to understand what the city looking for
- Providing with reasons why your application would be placed on review status
- Providing best practices to help you avoid your application being rejected
- Detailing what information and supplemental documentation will be required for submission

You must be logged into your individual account to unlock Member or Apartment Academy rates and the invoice payment option. Non-members will receive the non-member rate and be required to submit immediate payment with a credit card.
Confirmation e-mails will be sent when registration is completed, but are not guaranteed to be sent due to incorrect emails, security filters, etc.

All cancellations must be submitted in writing to the AAGD Education Department at least 24 hours prior to class. Written confirmation from the Education Department will be sent via e-mail. Substitutions are allowed, but ALL NO SHOWS WILL BE BILLED WITHOUT EXCEPTION. By registering for this program, you agree that you have read and understood the cancellation policy.
