ABOUT THE PROGRAM

As they say “Change your habits, and you’ll change your life.”  Habits go a long way in deciding a person’s fate.  Good habits pave the way to achievement while the bad ones cause perpetual failure.  If you want to achieve success, you must develop habits that facilitate success. This doesn’t mean grand, immediate change; rather, slowly introducing small habits can have a butterfly effect.  This insightful and powerful class will equip learners with the tools necessary for making a true shift in their lives and helping them to achieve their goals. 

During this class you will:

  • Learn practical strategies for developing positive habits
  • Identify the habits that are holding you back
  • Complete your own Atomic Habit Journal 
Heather Cotten began her journey in the multifamily industry in 1997 when she became a Leasing Consultant.  During her time in Germantown, TN, and San Antonio, TX, Heather advanced, being promoted to Assistant, then Property Manager.  Since 2009, Heather has served the industry as a supplier partner, currently serving a variety of markets within TX, FL, AZ, MS, and LA.  Heather has a passion for education and sharing her experience, leading her to instruct classes for the past 14 years in several Apartment Associations, including San Antonio, Austin, Houston, Tarrant County, Greater Dallas, and NAA.  Heather has a BA in Marketing from UTSA and holds her CAS designation and CPO certification.  She currently serves on AAGD’s Education Committee.

You must be logged into your individual account to unlock Member or Apartment Academy rates and the invoice payment option. Non-members will receive the non-member rate and be required to submit immediate payment with a credit card.

Cancellation Policy: 
All cancellations must be submitted in writing to the AAGD Education Department at least 24 hours prior to class. Written confirmation from the Education Department will be sent via e-mail.  Substitutions are allowed, but ALL NO SHOWS WILL BE BILLED WITHOUT EXCEPTION. By registering for this program, you agree that you have read and understood the cancellation policy.
