As EPA regulations drive the industry toward lower-GWP refrigerants, property operators need to prepare their maintenance teams for the newer refrigerants and equipment they will increasingly encounter—including systems that require different safety and service practices. A Low GWP Refrigerant Safety Certification gives technicians the knowledge to work with these systems safely and confidently while helping operators demonstrate proactive risk management, which can be valuable from both a maintenance and insurance perspective as refrigerant-related requirements and exposures continue to evolve.
This course provides students and practicing technicians with the information and knowledge necessary to safely work with mildly flammable refrigerants.

Please Note: Students are more successful if they have taken the EPA 608 Certification course. The program reviews several concepts from EPA 608 before diving into the A2L specifics.
