ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Eligible for 3 CEC

Class Description: As operators, you know the frustration and pain of being blindsided by a staffing or resident issue you didn't see coming.  Even worse?  When you look back and realize there were "signs" prior.  This program is about turning that 20/20 hindsight into 20/20 proactive foresight.

Key Takeaways

  • Threat & Safety Assessment: Potential physical/verbal threats to staff and residents, domestic violence, and overall on-site safety concerns
  • Resident & Eviction-Related Risk: Eviction concerns, resident disputes, and situations involving conflicting accounts or “he said/she said” scenarios
  • Security & Access Controls: Technology security, including cameras, alarms, and access controls, as well as evaluating on-site security personnel and coverage
  • Liability & Risk Management: Understanding the property’s liability when residents raise safety, security, or other concerns
  • Reputation & Communication Risk: Social media, reputation management, and responding appropriately to incidents or resident concerns that may become public
