Fundamentals of Financials for Assistant Managers

Class Description:
As an Assistant Manager the word financials will either excite you or send you into a sweaty panic.  Either way, you cannot escape their importance and your need to better understand them as you prepare your role as a Property Manager.  Join Lani Gardner as she helps you to unravel the world of financials and feel more confident with the jargon and formulas that may seem Greek to you today. 

In this class you will learn:

• Financial vocabulary
• Your role’s impact to property performance
• How to read a financial statement
• Everyday financial calculations

About the Instructor:
Lani Gardner, CAM, CAPS, CAS,  NAAEI Faculty
Lani Grant began her multifamily career in 1986 with Chasewood Properties.  Throughout her career, Lani has excelled in a variety of roles as both a supplier and owner/operator, including being the Regional VP with Dayrise Residential.  As a member of the National Apartment Association Faculty, Lani's love for the multifamily industry leads her to share her skills and experience by facilitating industry programs, including NAAEI Credential Programs.  A vital part of AAGD, AATC, TAA & NAA, Lani Grant is a renown and beloved asset who has proven her dedication by receiving a multitude of professional designations including CAM, CAPS, CAS, ARM, and HCCP.

Cancellation Policy: 
All cancellations must be submitted in writing to the AAGD Education Department at least 24 hours prior to class. Written confirmation from the Education Department will be sent via e-mail.  Substitutions are allowed, but ALL NO SHOWS WILL BE BILLED WITHOUT EXCEPTION.
