Class Description: Since the Pandemic, the US has seen resident retention stabilize at 51%, a very comfortable statistic for many of our members.  But how do we maintain this trend?  Residents are the heart of your community, and they must stay engaged and informed.  If we have learned anything in the last two years, it is essential to establish open communication lines from the moment they a become a prospect to the day they renew their lease.  This informative class will explore what channels are successful in maintaining communication and how to use them properly. 

In this class you will learn:

  • “New Normal” resident event ideas for all budgets.
  • How resident retention brings BIG financial gains to your asset and company.

About the Instructor: Tracy Cherry, Marketing Director, Summit Property Management
Tracy is the Marketing Director for Summit Property Management and Sentinel Peak Capital Partners, responsible for all aspects of outbound property marketing and brand consistency across all Sentinel Peak / Summit entities.  Tracy has held various marketing roles in the Property Management industry and her expertise includes previously held management and strategy positions, budget planning, social media management, resident retention, outreach marketing, in-house training, community involvement, leasing protocol, vendor relationships and is an active participant in industry education. She has facilitated education sessions at the Apartment Association of Greater Dallas, Apartment Association of Tarrant County, Multifamily Brainstorming, and private instruction for management companies.

Cancellation Policy:  All cancellations must be submitted in writing to the AAGD Education Department at least 24 hours prior to class. Written confirmation from the Education Department will be sent via e-mail.  Substitutions are allowed, but ALL NO SHOWS WILL BE BILLED WITHOUT EXCEPTION.
