As a Project Manager with US Ecologic Mugahid was involved in several LEED for Homes projects located in United Arab Emirates (UAE), Qatar, Oman and Saudi Arabia, working to promote Green Building culture for the Residential sector within the Region.
Being part of the 1st LEED Homes project outside North America (KAPSARC) and the LEED NC Platinum portion of the project as well, Mugahid had firsthand experience in overcoming the hurdles of implementing sustainable measures in Saudi Arabia construction sites.
Mugahid continues to be involved in sustainability consultancy work for projects around the US. Projects range from residential, mixed use and commercial office buildings seeking efficient solutions to code or above code objectives.
