Our Committees and Service Opportunities

The Apartment Association of Greater Dallas has several committees that are run by our members who are in volunteer leadership roles. These committees meet regularly throughout the year and work on specific initiatives tasked to them by the AAGD Board of Directors. Each of our committees has opportunities for our members to participate and attend meetings to learn more about the association, network with members, and volunteer for specific tasks for the association. 

Want to become a volunteer? 

The best way to get involved at our association is to attend meetings, events, classes, and/or volunteer. If you are not currently on a committee, you can sign up to volunteer for the committees. All of our committees have specific tasks that require assistance from our volunteer members. These tasks differ throughout the year but the following list states a few of the tasks we ask our volunteers to assist with; delivering welcome packets for new members, helping spread the word on social media, judging for the sapphire awards, helping sort toys for our drive, or help with
our community service project. The volunteers play a vital role at the association.

Volunteering helps connect you to our network and is a great way to get involved with the association.

Once you are signed up, we will contact you with different volunteer opportunities as they are needed throughout the year.
As always, make sure to attend the meetings our committees' host throughout the year.  

Looking for an upcoming meeting? 

All of our committee meetings are categorized on our event calendar as member meetings. These are events or meetings open to our members to attend and participate in.
