Brand Designer & Marketing Manager

Have you attended a conference or event and imagined how the magic came together? Have you ever thought, I could do that? At the Apartment Association of Greater Dallas, we are looking for a Brand Manager / Graphic Designer to join our team! The Apartment Association of Greater Dallas is one of the fastest-growing, multifamily associations in the nation! As association staff, our mission is to communicate, educate, and advocate on behalf of our members and industry.

Over the past few years, we have undertaken a vast brand overhaul which has successfully transformed the way our brand is able to present itself to the industry and those we work with. As a designer, you would collaborate with the Director of Communications and Marketing to develop fresh creative to market our association, communicate with our members, promote our courses, and amplify our signature in-person conferences and events.

The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of professional experience and a portfolio to match. This person is a detail-oriented self-starter who understands the value of a strong brand.


  • Design (concept development, design & layout); typical projects event graphics, landing page design, event signage, event presentations, a monthly magazine, etc.
  • Brand Management (overseeing the work of freelance designers, photographers, and other creative professionals as well as usage of the brand by internal departments)
  • Management of one’s own workload & deadlines, staying on top of multiple tasks & projects.
  • Collaborate and Communicate (ability to work strategically with other departments to meet the goals of the association)

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field
  • 5+ years of professional design experience or similar capacity
  • Expert knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite
  • Proficient in presentation software like Power Point or Keynote 
  • Self-starter who is organized and great at multitasking
  • Ability to work within an established brand but also provide unique solutions to keep our designs and communications fresh and on-trend.
  • Great verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to take on new challenges and learn!

Additional skill sets that will be highly considered:

  • Knowledge or an eagerness to learn in one or more of the areas below is a huge asset.
  • Working knowledge of Basic HTML coding
  • Working knowledge of video production and editing
  • Experience in email marketing
  • Experience in social media marketing
  • Experience with copywriting and proof-reading
