Class Description: Suppliers play an important role in their client’s ability to efficiently manage their communities.  The products and services that you provide enable communities to provide their residents with a suitable home and their owners with a return on their investment.  This makes you a PARTNER.  Join four industry leaders from different supplier companies and learn how to be successful in the multifamily industry.  You will have the opportunity to ask this panel questions as they share their knowledge, experience and personal journeys

About the Instructor: Leah Christian, Director of Nat. Accts., Lowe’s Pro-MSH

Leah is originally from Louisiana and moved to Houston in 1994 to start her career in the Multifamily industry.  She has worked in numerous markets across the country, including TX, WI, and WA, before moving to Dallas in 2001.  Leah is a lyceum graduate and currently serves on the Board of Directors with AAGD, along with very active in supporting our apartment associations at a local, state and national level.


About the Instructor: Jeff Duerstock

Jeff Duerstock has built a career serving the multifamily industry needs since 2006. After a number of years in the energy space, he was recently VP, Multifamily Sales for Updater - a technology platform focused on simplifying the moving process. Jeff is an active member in the industry. He is a lyceum class graduate, serves on the Board of Directors of both local apartment associations, current Products & Service Council Chair for AATC, and a delegate for both TAA & NAA. He received his NAAEI Certified Apartment Supplier designation in 2008.


About the Instructor: Jann Villanueva, CAS, NAAEI Faculty

Jann began her career in the Apartment Industry in 1998, working as a leasing consultant with Alpha- Barnes Real Estate Services. Jann quickly moved up the ranks and was an Apartment Manager with Capstone Real Estate Services before she made a career change in 2006 to become a Product and Service Supplier.  From 2006-2009, Jann worked at Apartment Home Living, then joined The Liberty Group as the Dallas Branch Manager, from 2009-2019. Jann joined the Valet Living team, as the Regional Director of Sales in May 2019. Jann is actively involved with both the Apartment Association of Greater Dallas and the Apartment Association of Tarrant County. Jann is also a member of the NAAEI Faculty, and she is passionate about education for our industry and committed to providing unparalleled service to her clients and team.  Jann is a mother of 4 girls and has been married to her husband, Mike, for over 10 years. She enjoys time with her family and networking with her business partners and industry peers. Jann is an active volunteer for the Alzheimer’s Association and founded a Caregivers program with her mother at the Flower Mound Senior Center in March of 2018.


About the Instructor:  Jessica Vo, Partner, Comm-Fit

Jessica is a partner at Comm-Fit, Comm-Fit offers high end commercial fitness equipment, design, and first rate service.  Jessica is a proud member of NAA, TAA, AAGD, AATC.  She is very active at TAA and the local associations.   She has been in the multifamily industry for 18 years.   

She graduated from The University of Texas at San Antonio with a BS in Health.  She promotes Wellness everywhere she goes!!!  She has a passion for Health and Fitness and loves to share her passion with her family, clients, and friends.  She lives in Coppell, TX with her son.

Written confirmation from the Education Department will be sent via e-mail.  Substitutions are allowed, but ALL NO SHOWS WILL BE BILLED WITHOUT EXCEPTION.
