CAMT (Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician) In Person

Class Description:
Maintenance technicians are critical for an apartment community’s operations. The CAMT Credential will ensure that you have all the necessary skills & knowledge expected of today’s maintenance technicians.

CAMT Details:
All classes will be 9:30am - 5:00pm

• Wednesday, October 11, 2023
• Thursday, October 12, 2023
• Wednesday, October 18, 2023
• Thursday, October 19, 2023
• Wednesday, October 25, 2023
• Thursday, October 26, 2023

Payment Policy:
Payment must be received and posted no later than Sept 27, 2023.

If payment is not received by this date, your registration will be cancelled. 

Requirements:
To obtain the CAMT credential, candidates must complete the following:

• Minimum of 12 months of apartment rental or housing maintenance experience. (This can be obtained while taking the course, you will receive a provisional certificate until this requirement is met.)
• Successful completion of all CAMT coursework and attend all classes. 
• Meet all examination standards within 6 months of declaring candidacy

Course Materials:
You will be provided with a physical (printed) CAMT Coursebook on the first day of class.

About the Instructor:
Tonya Lambert, CAMT, Training and Tech Support, Century HVAC Distributing.

Tonya is a NATE Certified Technician with 35 years of experience in the HVAC Service Industry. Her current position is Technical Service Advisor for Century HVAC Distributing.  She provides HVAC training & Manufacturer technical support by phone or field site visits for Commercial, Residential equipment to include Duct-Free Systems, Mini VRF, and Manufactured Housing Equipment.   She started in the Multi-Family Industry in 1984, then went to work as a Service Technician for an Air Conditioning Contractor.  Additionally, she has 10 years of experience developing and conducting HVAC Technical Training classes.

You must be logged into your individual account to unlock Member or Apartment Academy rates and the invoice payment option. Non-members will receive the non-member rate and be required to submit immediate payment with a credit card.

Confirmation e-mails will be sent when registration is completed, but are not guaranteed to be sent due to incorrect emails, security filters, etc.

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellation must be received in writing and approved by the AAGD Education Department no later than Sept 27, 2023.

Important: keep your cancellation approval e-mail for your records.

If a cancellation is not received by the deadline but before the start of the program, you are responsible for a one-time, non-refundable $150 fee for restocking.

No shows will be billed without exception. Student substitutions will be accepted until 72 hours before the class begins.
