Application fraud is one of the most significant and costly risks facing multifamily housing professionals today. From falsified income documents to identity theft and synthetic identities, fraudulent applications can lead to lost revenue, increased turnover, and safety concerns for residents and staff.
In this essential course, participants will learn how to detect red flags in rental applications, understand the most common fraud schemes, and implement effective screening procedures and preventative strategies. Real-world case studies and interactive exercises will help attendees sharpen their fraud detection skills and gain confidence in addressing suspicious applications professionally and legally.

Bradley Roschyk, CAM, CAPS, NAAEI Faculty is a Senior Training Director with Berkshire Residential Investments based in Dallas, Texas. Bradley is a dynamic leader, master trainer, and passionate advocate within the multifamily housing industry. Openly gay and a strong LGBTQIA+ ally, Bradley channels his lived experiences - facing bullying in youth, advocating for diversity in college, and overcoming adversity - into empowering others. A prolific speaker and writer, he leads conferences, webinars, and courses focusing on leadership, team building, inclusive culture, and personal development. Bradley is a longstanding volunteer and educator within the Apartment Association of Greater Dallas serving on multiple committees over his 18-year tenure with Berkshire; he currently serves also as an AAGD board member. Bradley embodies the intersection of property management know-how, instructional expertise, and compassionate leadership. Whether in the classroom or coaching his on-site teams, his mission remains constant: empowering individuals to speak up, grow and lead - authentically.
