IRO - Independent Rental Owner Open Meeting

Open to all Members

Category: Members Meetings - Open Meetings for ALL

Topic: Pay ZERO Taxes --- Legally

The recently passed “One Big Beautiful Bill” is set to make sweeping changes that impact every rental property owner — from tax strategy and compliance to long-term investment planning.

Join Bryan Ramirez for an in-depth look at the tax implications of the new legislation. Bryan will unpack what’s changing and how independent rental owners can strategically position themselves for success — covering updates to deductions, depreciation, entity structures, and wealth-building opportunities. His forward-thinking approach will help you see how the new law can be leveraged to not only remain compliant but also to strengthen profitability and growth.

Adding a valuable perspective, Jeremy Thomason, Managing, Chair of the Legislative Committee for the Apartment Association of Greater Dallas, and an independent rental owner himself, will discuss the broader opportunities emerging from the bill’s passage. Drawing on his experience as both an investor and policy advocate, Jeremy will share how shifting legislative priorities and incentives, including potential impacts on Opportunity Zones, could create new avenues for independent owners to expand and invest more strategically.

Together, Bryan and Jeremy will equip you with the insight, context, and practical guidance needed to navigate the “One Big Beautiful Bill” with clarity and confidence.

Join us for lunch and take advantage of the opportunity to connect with other Independent Rental Owners and members 30 minutes before the meeting, which begins at 12:00 PM.
