CAMT: Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician

Class Description:
As a Maintenance Technician you play a critical role in the success of the community.  From resident satisfaction to asset preservation, what you do on a daily basis affects your asset's operations.  Join other dedicated professionals as you do a deep dive into the fundamentals and beyond of what it takes to be a successful maintenance professional.  From preventative maintenance and repairs, to customer service and industry essentials, this national designation will show others your dedication to your craft and give you the opportunity to learn tricks of the trade from your peers and veteran instructor, Tonya Lambert.

CAMT Credential Dates (all 9:30am-5:00pm)
Program delivery includes classroom instruction & hands-on participation:

• Thurs, Nov 21st

Payment Policy:
Payment must be received and posted no later than October 30, 2024.

If payment is not received by this date, your registration will be canceled. 

Requirements:
To obtain the CAMT credential, candidates must complete the following:

• Minimum of 12 months of apartment rental or housing maintenance experience. (This can be obtained while taking the course, you will receive a provisional certificate until this requirement is met.)
• Successful completion of all CAMT coursework and attend all classes. 
• Pass the CAMT exam within 6 months of declaring candidacy. 

Course Materials:
You will be provided with a physical (printed) CAMT Coursebook on the first day of class.

About the Instructor:
Tonya Lambert, CAMT, Training and Tech Support, Century HVAC Distributing.

Tonya is a NATE Certified Technician with 35 years of experience in the HVAC Service Industry. Her current position is Technical Service Advisor for Century HVAC Distributing.  She provides HVAC training & Manufacturer technical support by phone or field site visits for Commercial, Residential equipment to include Duct-Free Systems, Mini VRF, and Manufactured Housing Equipment.   She started in the Multi-Family Industry in 1984, then went to work as a Service Technician for an Air Conditioning Contractor.  Additionally, she has 10 years of experience developing and conducting HVAC Technical Training classes.

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellation must be received in writing and approved by the AAGD Education Department no later than October 30, 2024.

Important: keep your cancellation approval e-mail for your records.

If a cancellation is not received by the deadline but before the start of the program, you are responsible for a one-time, non-refundable $150 fee for restocking.

No shows will be billed without exception. Student substitutions will be accepted until 72 hours before the class begins.
