Class Description: Social Media has become part of our everyday lives and has created a new way for companies to market to and connect with their customers.  Why should property management be any different?  Social Media offers an opportunity to keep your residents and prospects engaged and informed.  Learn best practices and tools that will your community to effectively create and manage social media content

In this class you will learn:

  • Best practices to gather and generate content
  • Why you should go “LIVE”
  • How to use Instagram and LinkedIn to network and connect
  • How to use social media to conduct outreach marketing

About the Instructor: Kimberly Scott

Kimberly started the first nationwide, online video production company for Apartments by putting videos on YouTube, Google Video Beta, Myspace, and other platforms before Google bought YouTube.  This allowed prospects to view videos of the apartments, communities as well as the surrounding area!  After selling the company, Kimberly began “brand ambassading” using her podcast, Industry Celebrities, where she interviews industry professionals about their industry, passion, and plus guests share a little advice they would give to their younger self.  Then in 2019, inspired by her time as a part-time caregiver to her mother, Kimberly began her second podcast, #CaregiversStories, where she was able to educate others on the struggles of being a caregiver.  Kimberly has served as a TAA PSC chair and is a current TAA PSC member.  She is an El Paso native and graduated from Texas State with a BA in Business Management and Marketing.

Cancellation Policy:  All cancellations must be submitted in writing to the AAGD Education Department at least 24 hours prior to class. Written confirmation from the Education Department will be sent via e-mail.  Substitutions are allowed, but ALL NO SHOWS WILL BE BILLED WITHOUT EXCEPTION. By registering for this program, you agree that you have read and understood the cancellation policy.
