Take Toxic to Terrific
Come with a peer for an enhanced program or come by yourself and take the information back to the team. Just don’t miss this seminar!! Are there conflicts at your community? It could be silent now…however, eventually the community performance will tell the truth. The “us against them” attitude is toxic and sure to kill everyone in sight, including your customers. We often hear, “it is not what you said, it is what I heard” and “oops, I forgot to mention…”which most likely is, “ While I did my job, I didn’t really understand how valuable and time saving it is to communicate effectively before making a decision.
This is a must seminar that focuses on mending the break down of communication that often occurs in the day and life of property management.

What can we do to improve our relations with our residents and avoid losing them?
Learn more about counseling, emergency rental, utility and relocation assistance, referrals and support groups.
Services at the Housing Crisis Center (HCC) began in 1978 as the Dallas Tenants’ Association. HCC has since grown to its current continuum of housing programs and services specifically designed to "prevent homelessness and to stabilize the elderly, the disabled, and families with children in decent, affordable, permanent housing, and to empower these groups to be able to solve future housing problems.

At landlord/tenant workshops, tenants can learn more about Texas housing laws and meet with attorneys about specific concerns. Low-income clients who have defensible eviction cases can be represented in court or helped to mediate an agreement by an HCC attorney . There are no fees for these services. HCC’s pro bono legal program has been cited by the State Bar of Texas for outstanding service.
