24th Annual Golf Classic to raise funds for AAGD PAC
It’s time once again for AAGD’s Annual Spring Golf Classic!  Friday, May 16 will be a day that you will not want to miss! 

Get ready for one of AAGD’s most popular events, to be held at Bear Creek Golf Club.

This is your opportunity to “tee off” for a worthy cause … AAGD’s Political Action Fund.  All proceeds from the Golf Classic will benefit the AAGD PAC.  This special fund provides support for political officials who care about our industry and the business community as a whole.

The popular event played Florida Scramble style has become the highlight of the year for many AAGD members.  It offers a full day of relaxation and fun with clients and business associates … and is open to everyone … beginners, pros, women and men.  There is one rule – only one player per team may be a non-member of AAGD.

Tournament check-in begins at 10:00 A.M. and tee-off will be 1:00 P.M.  However, you won’t want to miss the Putting Contest sponsored by TXU Energy that will take place at 11:30 A.M.  In addition, come early to practice your drive at the Driving Range sponsored by Sure Deposit.  The day will wrap up with a buffet dinner, door prizes and a Trophy Ceremony for the 24rh Golf Classic winners, all set to start at approximately 6:30 P.M.  This year’s Classic will feature two flights that will be determined after play.  First and second place teams in each flight will receive American Express Gift Checks.

If you are a golfer, dinner is included in your registration fee.  If you are a non-golfer and want to attend the dinner and awards ceremony the cost is $30.  Dinner attendees MUST call Paula Kelley, AAGD’s Director of Events to make reservations.  You may either make up your own team or be assigned to one by the golf committee.  All entries must be paid by PERSONAL check payable to the AAGD Political Action Committee or PERSONAL credit card (Visa, Mastercard or American Express).  All proceeds will go to the AAGD PAC.  

Cost per golfer is $125 which includes cart, range balls and dinner.   Or you can pay $150 which includes cart, range balls, dinner, 2 mulligans, putting contest entry and 2 raffle tickets.   PERSONAL CHECKS OR CREDIT CARDS, PAYABLE TO AAGD POLITICAL ACTION COMMITTEE (AAGD PAC).
