Professional Designation Programs
NATIONAL APARTMENT ASSOCIATION (NAA) DESIGNATE CLASSES
We encourage our applicants to complete all the classes for their NAA Designation, but realize some individuals may prefer to take one or more stand alone modules without receiving the NAA designation. Call the Education Department 972.385.9091 for individual module class prices.
To receive the NAA Designation, NALP must be completed in a year and CAMT, CAM / CAS and CAPS must be completed within two years.

Suppliers are important liaisons to the multifamily housing industry, and are vitally important to the success of every community. CAS is designed as an opportunity for suppliers to hear the everyday challenges faced by the apartment manager and affords them the opportunity to interface with industry professionals who are seeking the CAM Designation.
To obtain a CAS Designation you must have worked in the apartment industry at least 12 months, successfully completed the three required courses, and one of the elective courses from the CAM Class, and meet the examination requirements within 24 months of declaring your candidacy for CAS.

BE THE BEST YOU CAN BE! This National Apartment Association Designation Program is focused on the needs of a leasing professional and will prepare the candidate for success as a leasing superstar. Leasing Professionals are the first people prospective residents meet and often their only gauge of the on–site staff. The NALP Designation will bring confidence to the recipient because it exposes them to the foundations of leasing procedures and prepares them for the leasing professional’s roles and responsibilities. This program is ideal for those who have recently joined the industry and want to learn while acquiring their experience or as an in-depth refresher for leasing professionals.
Requirements: Worked in the apartment industry for 6 months, complete the 7 courses, deliver a Market Survey presentation, pass the final exam and fulfill 6 months experience. Candidates have one year to complete all requirements.
