AAGD offers its members a tremendous value in education through the Apartment Academy. Open to all members, the Apartment Academy training programs have been designed for a variety of professional career tracks.

To participate in the Apartment Academy, owners and management companies simply enroll their communities. Suppliers enroll their companies. Any and all employees of an enrolled property or supplier company may attend any and all Academy programs. Non-members of the Academy are welcome to attend for $69.00 per person.

Per Property $550.00 (prepaid annually)
$50.00 Monthly (12 month contract)

Per supplier company $350.00 (prepaid annually)
$30.00 monthly (12 month contract)

$69.00 per person for non-academy members.

Academy members will receive 10% discounts on NAA designation programs offered by AAGD and a 10% discount for any program not included in the academy, such as REDBOOK seminars.

Attention NAA Designates: Apartment Academy seminars qualify for Continuing Education Credits (CECs) – one credit per classroom hour.

Certificate Program

Students are issued Apartment Academy Passbooks, which they may use to track the number of academy hours they accumulate. When a student has accumulated the hours listed below, a certificate for that level will be issued:

21 Hours Apartment Academy Associate
42 Hours Apartment Academy Fellow
63 Hours Apartment Academy Scholar
84 Hours Apartment Academy Graduate

All association members may attend academy seminars at published prices without enrolling in the Apartment Academy. However, if training through academy seminars saves one move-out or customer, supplies one new lease or sale, or helps keep one employee, enrollment in the Apartment Academy has paid for itself.
